Christine is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with Nbisiing Power and was instrumental in facilitating this partnership. With a passion for economic development and capacity building, Christine is fully committed to supporting the growth and success of this innovative business operating in Nipissing First Nation.

In her role as CEO, Christine provides strategic leadership and overall direction for Nbisiing Power, ensuring the organization fulfills its vision while delivering sustainable business growth, operational excellence, and meaningful community impact. She is responsible for leading organizational strategy, developing business opportunities, building strong relationships with Indigenous communities, customers, vendors, governments, and industry partners.

Christine has 20 years of experience in government and corporate environments focused on Indigenous relations, strategic policy and economic development including 10 years with Hydro One. Christine prioritizes collaborative, respectful, and mutually beneficial relationships with customers, vendors and Indigenous communities across Canada.

Christine lives in her home community of Nipissing First Nation where she enjoys fishing, watching her children play hockey, and spending time with family and friends.

Throughout his career, Jordan has developed strong relationships with customers and industry partners, built and led high-performing teams, and supported organizations in identifying and executing new business opportunities. In his role with Nbisiing Power, Jordan works with major energy-sector organizations, including Hydro One, Ontario Power Generation (OPG), Bruce Power and their respective EPC partners, while developing strategic partnerships and expanding the company’s vendor network.

Jordan has also played a key role in bringing new vendors through customer approval and qualification processes, helping establish Nbisiing Power as a trusted Indigenous-owned supplier within the energy industry.

As a member of Nipissing First Nation, Jordan is passionate about bringing his professional experience back to his community and contributing to long-term economic growth, Indigenous participation, and capacity building.

I joined the Nbisiing Power team in 2022 as Sales Development Lead and transitioned into my current role as Office Manager in 2024.

Being part of the community gives special meaning to my work. I am proud to contribute to the growth of Nbisiing Power while supporting our team, building strong relationships, and helping create opportunities that benefit our community and its future.

As an Inside Sales and Project Management professional with Nbisiing Power, she supports customers, vendors, and project teams in the coordination and delivery of engineered electrical equipment solutions for utility, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects. Inspired by the company's Indigenous ownership and commitment to community-driven growth, she is passionate about building meaningful relationships and supporting opportunities that benefit Indigenous communities.

Drawing on a strong background in administration, customer service, and project coordination, Riley brings a highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach to her work. She enjoys working closely with customers and industry partners, managing project details, and helping ensure projects and deliverables stay on track. As she continues to grow in her role, Riley is committed to expanding her knowledge of the energy sector and contributing to the long-term success of clients, partners, and communities.

Outside of work, Riley enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and taking long walks with her dog, Wyatt.

Alongside his family, he has become an active part of the community and has developed a strong personal connection to Nipissing First Nation and a commitment to supporting Indigenous-led economic development.

Jordan brings more than 15 years of experience in the mining industry. His background includes estimating, project planning, operations, team leadership and supervisory roles with organizations such as Redpath Mining, Vale, Thyssen Mining, and Newmont. Throughout his career, Jordan has gained extensive field and project planning experience in complex project environments, developing strong relationships and contributing to the safe and efficient execution of operations.

As a Sales Development Representative with Nbisiing Power, Jordan focuses on building strong customer and vendor relationships, identifying strategic business opportunities, and supporting the company's continued growth.

His experience collaborating with First Nations communities, combined with his operational and business development expertise, allows him to bring a practical perspective and strong commitment to partnership-building. Jordan is dedicated to helping advance Nbisiing Power's mission of delivering value for customers while contributing to sustainable economic growth and community success.

With over six years of administrative experience, Joanne focuses on creating efficient workflows and supportive work environments for all staff. Joanne believes that a well-organized office is the foundation of team success. Outside of work, she enjoys tapping into her creative side and creating art in many different forms.
